Papered Paisley

Commissioned by the V&A for their ‘Fabric of India’ exhibition in 2015, this collection is one of Sara’s most celebrated collections. Looking towards the Regency fascination with the East and inspired by 18th Century silhouette drawings, this lightweight collection emulates shadow on paper. The qualities within the natural and oxidised silvers, together with the golds, replicates the surface texture of paper itself.
