Aperture

This collection was first designed and made by Sara in 2012 where it was launched at Jewellery and Watch Birmingham in the Design Quarter to outstanding acclaim during a time when designer jewellery was seen as a real luxury.
The Aperture Collection is a wistful series taking inspiration from the idea of a secret garden. A keen gardener herself, Sara allows this collection to ‘look through apertures’ into hidden gardens and landscapes and often allows the wearer to construct the garden themselves by her just providing the frame to look through.
Sometimes featuring keys, this collection features wreaths of hand carved silver and gold leaves, rare pieces are embellished with small antique emeralds sourced from old jewellery and re-purposed for this collection.
